Creative Garden Wageningen

The Reclaim the Seeds Wageningen project focuses on advocating for seed autonomy, promoting sustainable agriculture, and preserving biodiversity within our local community and beyond. We aim to create a platform where individuals can explore alternative seed systems, exchange knowledge on regenerative farming practices, and engage in dialogue surrounding the social, political, and environmental aspects of agriculture.

Through workshops, discussions, and collaborative initiatives, we strive to empower individuals to reclaim control over their seeds and food systems, promoting resilience and diversity in agricultural landscapes. We envision a future where communities have access to diverse seed varieties, farmers are empowered to save and exchange seeds freely, and agricultural practices prioritize ecological sustainability and social equity.

Our project seeks to bridge the gap between traditional wisdom and contemporary innovation, fostering a holistic approach to agriculture that respects cultural heritage while embracing new technologies and methodologies. By fostering collaboration and collective action, we aspire to catalyze transformative change in how we perceive, interact with, and steward our food and agricultural systems.

Moving forward, we are committed to expanding our outreach efforts, strengthening partnerships with like-minded organizations, and advocating for policies that support seed autonomy and sustainable agriculture. Together, we can cultivate a future where seeds are seen as sacred resources, nurturing the health of our communities and the planet.
