Open Meeting: Community Kitchen
🍜Next week we start the year with re-thinking our Student-led Community Kitchen! Last year we had quite some successful lunches made by students, for students. 🍀With this initiative we want to raise awareness for the unaffordable, unhealthy and unsustainable lunches offered by the catering business at campus. And what is a better action than offering an alternative, with local veggies, waste streams, low prices or no animal products? After a long break, we want to re-establish the Student Kitchen, so this is your time to join! 💫 📍Learn about the initiative and bring in your ideas at our next open meeting When: January 6th - 18.30 Where: Clockhouse (Old Library)

This market garden, between Zutphen and Deventer is communally owned by Stichting Kapitaloceen, which buys land free from the market with the ideal to use it for humans and non-humans. Find more information on their website: tuinenvandeegel.nl Right now the farmers need our help for their winter works! They're looking for as many hands as possible because there are endless tasks to help with. With Boerengroep we want to join their working days to meet them, meet other volunteers, get to know the farm and the farmers and most important do some work! Let's get active and join us to the farm! Bring farm proof clothes and gloves if you have them. Snacks are appreciated, soup will be served by the farmers during lunch.

Er zijn veel manieren waarop je actief kan worden bij Boerengroep: Wordt vrijwilliger, doe je scriptie/stage bij ons, wordt bestuurslid, kom naar onze evenementen... Je kan altijd contact met ons opnemen als je actief wilt zijn bij Boerengroep, of als je ideeën hebt over samenwerkingen!
